Our Mini Rex (Lynx Herd)
The lynx variety is one of the most beautiful and exciting colors out there. The crisp lilac color over an agouti background is very striking. The goal of the lynx, is the same as the reds, I hope to get on a BOB level with them.
A Little Info on Lynx
Coloration is to be a light fawn color tipped with lilac. The intermediate band is to be bright fawn clearly defined over a bend of white undercolor. Width of the intermediate band should be equal. Surface color of the belly is to be white to creamy tan with a dove -gray undercolor. The chest, head, outside of ears, and upper side of tail is to match the body surface color. Ears are to be laced in a lilac, Eye circles, nostrils, jowls, inside of ears and underside of tail are white to creamy tan. Underside of tail is to match the surface color of the belly. Toenails are to be pigmented in solids. Eyes are blueish grey
Faults-- Surface color that is too light, too dark, uneven or blue in appearance; barred feet, in-distinctive ring color; failure to show dove-grey undercolor on belly.
Disqualifications from competition-- harlequin markings; blue undercolor.

Senior Lynx Buck Dam: SBR's Pandemonium(Lynx) Sire: SBR's Knights of Lazarus(Lynx) A-bbC-ddE- enen I like this buck a lot. He has a good head and ear on him. Nice body, would like to see more on that HQ . Wish he was half a fingernail shorter in the shoulder. Has a good balance to him. |
